Under construction: Airy experience

Mandai, a district in the north of Singapore, is known for its zoo a largescale nature and wildlife reserve. Biodiversity and sustainability play an important role here. Directly adjacent to the wildlife parks is a 4.6-hectare eco- resort. The resort, designed by WOW Architects and operated by Banyan Tree Hotels, will open in 2023 and is designed to be as sustainable as possible.

Nestled in the vegetation are 30 seed podshaped tree houses where guests are truly in the midst of nature, looking over or directly into the nature reserve.

To create a natural indoor climate, the silent gravity cooling system GraviVent® is installed here. The silent mode of operation does not disturb the experience of nature with all its sounds, there is no draught and, above all, GraviVent® works in a resourcesaving an environmentally friendly way.

A total of 80 gravity cooling units are installed; all with blackcoated fronts and connections that can be mounted either in the left or right. Almost invisibly, GraviVent® integrates flexibly and adaptably into this great project.
