Fountain and Basins

Fountains, water features, pools – water is an attraction in both public and private spaces. Even in earlier times, fountains had a social function: people came here to fetch water, wash their clothes and meet
others. Pools and water features, on the other hand, tended to have a more decorative and entertaining character – for example, in the geometric garden design of the Renaissance. Nowadays, at least in our part of the world, fountains are mainly decorative. But even in what we now see as purely decorative features, there is still something useful, because water helps to improve the microclimate. Not least in many hotter regions, fountains and water basins are found in patios and gardens to lower temperatures at least slightly through evaporative cooling.

However, climate is not our topic here; rather, it is water and light. We call the combination of stainless steel drainage channels, homogeneous cover grates and LED lighting ‘Drainlight’.
The fully encapsulated LED light lines delicately frame fountains and water basins. Like the channels and grates, they are available in straight or curved designs.

The radius can be freely selected and thus adapts perfectly to the contour of the object. Water features can be accentuated with LED spotlights integrated into stainless steel sink boxes. Additional effects can be created using coloured LEDs with a DMX interface. Grates and channels are available in a roll-over/drive-over design and with inspection boxes that can be paved over.
