High-quality LED light lines from ado lights illuminate the ‘Alif’ mobility pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai
The ‘Alif’ mobility pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai, designed by Foster + Partners, showcases modern mobility concepts on over 12,000 m² and impresses with its unique architecture. To illuminate the public outdoor area, 870 walk-on and roll-over LED light lines of type LLF40.20 from ado lights were installed.
These light lines are specially designed for high loads and feature high-quality Nichia LEDs with a colour temperature of 5,700 K and an output of 19.2 W/m. Thanks to a robust polyurethane encapsulation layer, the lights are dustproof, waterproof, UV-resistant and weatherproof, making them ideal for outdoor use.
The light lines are controlled via a DMX controller, which enables dynamic adjustment of the light intensity and thus not only provides a visual highlight, but is also energy-efficient.
The combination of innovative lighting design and durable technology supports the Expo’s sustainability goals and contributes to the continued use of the ‘Alif’ pavilion as an office building after the trade fair.
