The Roman Canal Hiking Trail now runs alongside the partially restored structure, which dates back to around 80\u201390 AD.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>Halfway between Nettersheim and Cologne lies the information centre in the heart of Rheinbach. To ensure that water also flows correctly here, TTC stainless steel fa\u00e7ade gutters with grate covers were installed. LED light lines on the fa\u00e7ade show the building in the right light and continue the old Roman canal in the exhibition.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>LED downlights and light rails with LED spotlights with different beam angles ensure good lighting for the exhibition rooms and exhibits on the theme of \u2018How water learned to run\u2019.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a supporter of the project \u2018The Roman Canal \u2013 Competitive for the Future\u2019, TTC\/ADO Lights sponsored the outdoor lighting lines as well as the drainage channels and cover grates for the town of Rheinbach.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ancient Roman canal is a masterpiece of Roman engineering, stretching over 95 kilometres as a pure gravity-fed water conduit to supply the inhabitants of Colonia Agrippina, today&#8217;s Cologne, with fresh water from the Eifel region.
