Silence in court.\u00a0The largest courtroom of the Wuppertal District Court is the jury courtroom: no old splendour, but a relic of the post-war period before the current renovation, as the part of the building in which the courtroom is located were severely damaged by bomb hits during Second World War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The renovation of the much-used courtroom took into account the fact that modern media technology is increasingly used in trials, which means that audio recordings and video confer- ences must be clearly perceptable throughout the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the richly profiled coffered ceiling from the 1950s was to be preserved.
